At a 4PL logistics service provider, responsibility was held for leading a department overseeing European Transport Management for several leading clients (multinationals).

The department focused, on the carrier side, on the identification, sourcing, selection, contracting, and onboarding of carriers across multiple transport modalities.

On the shipper side, responsibilities included managing tenders, carrier management, and identifying optimization opportunities in terms of cost and sustainability. In addition, the department was responsible for the operational execution of transport and the financial settlement with carriers.
